Required Daily Health Check for your Child:

It is required by B.C. Health for parents to complete the daily health check with their child every day to assess for any cold or flu symptoms. Please keep your child at home if they have any of the following symptoms:

  • Fever
  • Chills
  • Cough or worsening of chronic cough
  • Shortness of breath
  • Loss of sense of smell or taste
  • Diarrhea
  • Nausea and vomiting

While the following symptoms have been removed from the daily checklist if experienced in isolation, if your child has more than one symptom below, it will be important for your child to stay at home and for you to and connect with your family physician or call 811 for direction.

  • Sore throat
  • Runny/stuffy nose
  • Headache
  • Fatigue
  • Loss of appetite
  • Muscle aches
  • Conjunctivitis (pink eye)
  • Dizziness, confusion
  • Abdominal pain
  • Skin rash or discolouration of fingers and toes

Photo Day is Oct. 6th. Students will have their individual photo taken and orders will be available online. Orders will be mailed directly home.

Planners: Grades 1-6 can now purchase their planners on CashOnline. Be sure to log into your account, to see your child’s purchase order.

Students in grades 3, 4 and 4/5 will be learning the recorder. Our Music teacher, Mrs. Kerslake has negotiated a discount through a music store and we are able to offer these on School Cash Online for one week only, Today, Friday Oct. 2- until 4:00 pm Thursday, Oct. 8th. After that time, parents will be responsible for purchasing their own recorder at Long and McQuade. The cost is $7.15.
