September 26, 2019
Dear Coyote families. Please see below the letter from Mrs. Ingles.
Dear students and families of Coyote Creek,
I would like to start by saying thank you for the opportunity to become part of this great community as both Vice Principal and teacher for the past two years. Coyote Creek is such a dynamic, enthusiastic, welcoming place to be, and I have valued my time with you here.
It is with mixed emotions that I send this letter to you to advise that I am leaving Coyote Creek Elementary effective Friday, September 27, 2019. I have been transferred to another Surrey School to continue my work as a Vice Principal and Teacher – a move that presents an opportunity for me to grow as an administrator, and for me to bring the skills and experiences that I have been so fortunate to develop during the past two years at Coyote Creek, to another school in the district. At the same time, I am sad to leave Coyote Creek. You have terrific children with great hearts, enthusiasm, and eagerness to learn and I would have loved to continue to grow with them year. Coyote Creek is such a terrific school to work, learn and play at, and I know that your children will continue to be in great hands!
I appreciate that this announcement will be unexpected—particularly so close to the start of our school year. However, I am confident that the disruption to the Coyote Creek community will be minimal. I am sorry that I have been unable to share this information with each of you personally but please know that I wish you and your children a fantastic year of learning and growing at Coyote Creek. Thank you for the opportunity to work with you and your children.
Sincerely, Lori Ingles
Coyote Creek Elementary
We are excited for Mrs. Ingles as she will be a great asset to her new school community. At the same time, we are very sad to see her go. Mrs. Ingles has been a valued member of our school community for the past two years demonstrating thought and care into every area of her work. She cares deeply for our students, staff and community and will be greatly missed. Good luck Mrs. Ingles and thank you for all the relationships you have nurtured during your time at Coyote Creek.
